It’s that time again. Sunday evening, winding down from the busy weekend, and just wanting to listen to some tunes to tuck the weekend into bed…. or something like that. Well, I’m here to dispense some musical prescriptions that are surely good for what ails ya. Trust me. I’m a Doctor. ;) A sad note, as the title of the episode revealed, a musical legend passed away this week. J.J. Cale died on the 26th of July of a heart attack. Eric Clapton owes much to Mr. Cale, since J.J. wrote Clapton’s 2 (of his) biggest hits: After Midnight (as seen in the Michelob commercial), and Cocaine, the monster hit from “Slowhand”, EC’s breakthrough solo album. We’re gonna pay tribute to Cale at the beginning of the show, then we’ll bust out into a bunch of triple shots. Yippee!
